Job summary

Avantor's Equipment and Instrumentation Services team in North America is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the region. You will develop opportunities, manage multi-million-dollar accounts, and coordinate with field sales, operations, and partners to expand service offerings.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/pharma/equipment management, leadership experience, and strong sales and presentation skills. Travel up to 40% across customer sites and facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in engineering, pharma, or equipment management.
• Supervisory or management experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ and GMP compliance.
• LEAN certification and implementation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and development of Equipment Services across North America.
• Oversee equipment services portfolio and refine business processes.
• Achieve sales, profit, and expense objectives in a multi-million-dollar territory.
• Develop strategies to expand value-added services within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to identify service needs.
• Support RFI/RFP/RFQ responses and coordinate with partners.
