Job summary

Honda in Ohio seeks a maintenance/reliability engineer to coordinate Equipment Service Technicians and Team Leaders, developing preventive maintenance programs and improving reliability across operations.

The role requires 2–8 years of manufacturing experience, a two-year Electrical-Mechanical degree (or equivalent), and strong Maximo and RCМ skills to analyze failures and drive countermeasures.

Qualifications

• Two-year Electrical-Mechanical degree or equivalent, as stated.
• 2-8 years manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of process and department process flow.
• Maximo entry knowledge and experience.
• Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) skillset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze / evaluate equipment failures/inefficiencies and develop, implement, and measure effectiveness of countermeasures.
• Ascertain hidden equipment failures and develop path-forward countermeasures.
• Identify preventative and predictive equipment needs.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze CMMS-Maximo for equipment data and KPIs; MTTR/MTBF; repair vs. replace decisions.
