Job summary

Palmer Johnson is hiring an experienced Equipment Service Technician for our Sun Prairie RECON shop. You’ll work on heavy‑duty equipment across construction, material handling, agriculture, and industrial lines, and you’ll receive a $1,500 sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, disassembling, inspecting, and rebuilding machines; troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues; documenting findings; and coordinating with teammates, customers, and manufacturers to restore equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel, heavy equipment, or drivetrain repair experience.
• Technical training in diesel or automotive is a plus, but not required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout the day.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Palmer Johnson is hiring an experienced Equipment Service Technician for our Sun Prairie RECON shop. In this role, you'll work on a variety of heavy‑duty equipment used in construction, material handling, agriculture, and industrial equipment. You will also receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus!

What You'll Do
