Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys mechanical and electrical assembly work? Palmer Johnson is looking for a skilled Production Technician to join our growing team in Greenville, SC.

In this role, you’ll work on industrial engines and off-highway equipment while building your skills with a company that values teamwork, craftsmanship, and work/life balance.

What You'll Do

• Install mechanical and electrical components onto industrial engines
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete engine assembly
• Position and assemble components accurately and efficiently
• Test run engines to verify proper operation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Transport parts and equipment throughout the shop
• Collaborate closely with the Operations team to meet production goals

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, engines, or industrial equipment
• Basic mechanical and 12V electrical knowledge
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and small gantry cranes (Forklift certification preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and stand, bend, or walk for 10 consecutive hours
• Regular attendance is required for success in this role
