Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Extensive repair and maintenance experience with self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Knowledge of work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements.
• Maintenance and repair issues awareness in the equipment rental industry.
• Planning and management experience.
• Computer literacy and reporting experience.
• Inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment, organizing yard status.
• Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs.
• Orders parts to maintain adequate supplies and trains staff mechanics.
• Collaborates with vendors to learn maintenance requirements for new equipment.
• Evaluates equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
• Documents equipment status before and after rental and handles complaints.
• Promotes safety awareness and performs quality control checks.
• Updates service records, creates and closes work orders, and files warranty claims.
