Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Bloomington, IL to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers with products, manage rentals with U-Scan, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and inspect equipment for safety and readiness.

The role offers on-the-job education, bonus opportunities, and a path for growth within the U-Haul family. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Educate customers regarding products and services.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
