Job summary

Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment in Phoenix seeks an experienced Truck Sales professional to drive revenue by selling heavy‑duty bodies, used trucks, trailers and related components. You will call on prospects, manage assigned accounts, and document all activity in the CRM to stay aligned with market needs.

The role requires a CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days, 2+ years in truck sales, and strong communication, closing, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days.
  • At least 2 years experience in truck sales or applicable experience.
  • Computer and telephone skills required.
  • Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years retail sales experience.
  • Heavy or medium duty truck experience preferred.
  • Verbal communication, aggressive, self-motivated, closing ability, organized, time management.

Responsibilities

  • Sell heavy-duty bodies, used trucks, trailers and related components specs.
  • Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within territory.
  • Maintain contact with customers; document activity in CRM.
  • Identify and profile prospective customers; develop strategy to obtain orders.
  • Report on competitive activity.
  • Coordinate with parts, service, and sales personnel to achieve market penetration.

JOB SUMMARYThis position utilizes our companies Core Values to sell all BTE products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge skills to influence customers and assist them in applying our products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation for the company and excellent service for our customers.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESSell heavy-duty bodies, used trucks, trailers and related components specs.Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territoryMaintains contact with customers in relation to their requirements; keep current on market and customer trends and document all activity in the company’s CRM system.Identifies and profiles prospective customers develop and apply strategy necessary to obtain orders, close potential orders.Reports on competitive activityKeeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers that will assist in sales effortsCoordinates efforts with outside parts, service, and new and used heavy duty truck sales personnel to achieve full market penetrationMARGINAL JOB TASKSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
