Job summary

C & B Operations, a John Deere equipment dealer, is seeking a Sales Representative in Pipestone, MN. You will develop relationships, expand the customer base, and present equipment options to customers, with base pay plus commissions based on experience.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of outside sales, strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of agricultural/outdoor power equipment. Travel within the territory is required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years outside sales experience.
• Experience winning new business in a competitive environment.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
• Strong communication and sales presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Knowledge of agricultural or outdoor power equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and expand customer pipelines.
• Prospect and close new business within the territory.
• Create customer-specific proposals based on needs analyses.
• Conduct market research for competitive comparisons.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Maintain sales information for customers in the territory.
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
• Provide timely communication to management on market trends.
