Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Garner, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face of our service team. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products, use U-Scan technology to manage rentals, and help inspect and relocate equipment.

This Part-Time position offers on-the-job training, safety emphasis, benefits where eligible, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
