Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in Greenwood, SC to be the face of our service, assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, and help manage rentals using U-Scan technology.

You will move and hook up trucks, inspect equipment, prepare invoices, and participate in ongoing U-Haul education. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification available on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification available on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
