Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a supportive team at our Greenwood, SC location. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect and maintain equipment, and use U-Scan technology to manage inventory and billing.

This role emphasizes fast, friendly service and accurate information to every guest. Responsibilities include moving and hooking up trucks and trailers, preparing invoices, installing hitches, and participating in on-the-job education through U-Haul

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
