Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a Rental & Equipment Coordinator to manage equipment rentals and KE-owned equipment across projects. Reporting to the Assets & Facilities Manager, you will coordinate demand forecasting, vendor quotes, reservations, and maintenance coordination to ensure safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to KE's Safety, People, Passion, and Performance values.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in equipment rentals, asset management, inventory control, logistics, fleet management, warehouse operations or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Strong analytical skills to track costs, utilization and performance metrics.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for equipment rental needs from request through return.
• Forecast demand and align rentals with project schedules with Operations and field teams.
• Source equipment, compare quotes, negotiate rates and terms; manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate reservations, POs, deliveries, pickups, transfers and extensions.
• Maintain rental records: contracts, rates, project assignments, locations and dates.
• Monitor rental costs, utilization, and invoice discrepancies; resolve issues.
