Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a Rental & Equipment Coordinator to manage equipment rentals and KE-owned equipment across projects. You will serve as the primary contact for rental needs, coordinate purchases, track contracts, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in equipment rentals, asset management, inventory control, logistics, fleet management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track costs, utilization, and performance metrics.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for equipment rental needs from initial request through final return.
• Forecast demand and align rentals with project schedules with Operations teams.
• Source equipment, compare quotes, negotiate rates, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Coordinate reservations, POs, deliveries, transfers, and returns.
• Maintain rental records including contracts, rates, project assignments, locations, dates, inspections, and return documentation.
• Prepare dashboards and recurring reports on rental spend, utilization, vendor performance, equipment costs, and realized savings.
