Job summary

Empire Southwest in North Las Vegas is seeking a Rental Coordinator to process machine rentals from initial customer request to final billing, maintain inventory, and promote rental equipment through active customer contact. You will support Account Managers and Rental Territory Managers while ensuring accurate charges and timely dispatch of equipment.

The role requires strong product knowledge, DBS/Excel/Word proficiency, and reliable attendance within a safety-conscious, on-site work

Qualifications

Proof of high school diploma or GED.
English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
24 months minimum experience in Rental Industry or EM Rental.
Extensive knowledge of the Caterpillar product line.
Proficiency in DBS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Typing ability of at least 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

Process rental requests.
Know Empire’s product.
Maintains inventory records of rental machines.
Generates and distributes all customer rental charges including days rented, tire wear, transportation, abuse and neglect, and overtime.
Handles customer-billing complaints.
Dispatches Empire owned transport trucks for pickup and delivery of machines.
Assumes leadership for the coordinator desk and position in general.
Maintains open communication with Sales Account Managers, Rental Territory Managers, and customers.
