Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in Norwood, MA. You will assist customers, manage rentals via U-Scan, and help with equipment on the lot including trucks, trailers and hitches. Propane fueling and forklift certification are offered after employment.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, safety, and continuous learning through U-Haul University. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth within the U-Haul team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluids checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
