Gillman Home Center in Eaton, OH is seeking a Rental Manager to plan, coordinate and direct retail rental operations at the location, maintain inventory and advise on equipment issues.

The role emphasizes customer service, POS transactions, equipment delivery/pickup, safety compliance, maintenance coordination and daily reporting. Requires a high school diploma or GED and strong mechanical skills; valid driver’s license and Stihl equipment experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical expertise is a must for this position.
• Valid driver’s license; For-Hire Endorsement not required but preferred.
• Stihl power equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner; answer questions and resolve concerns.
• Deliver and pick up rental equipment at customer location as needed.
• Open and close rental contracts and reservations; ring out rental transactions on POS.
• Inspect equipment for damage, fuel levels, missing parts, and cleanliness.
• Monitor and track equipment daily; follow up on contracts to ensure timely returns.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe rental area.
• Open and close store as assigned; perform required store maintenance.
