Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. seeks a Rental Coordinator to oversee end-to-end equipment rental processes across multiple branch locations in the United States.

You will generate rental orders, manage contracts, verify customer insurance and credit status, and coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment availability. You will supervise yard staff, maintain accurate inventories, and ensure timely invoicing and returns, while delivering proactive customer service and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Proven customer service skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end rental processes across multiple branches.
• Generate rental orders with professional, courteous service.
• Supervise yard coordinators to ensure policy compliance and efficiency.
• Create rental contracts and verify customer status for invoicing.
• Manage equipment requests by matching inventory to needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts as required.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and transportation for equipment.
• Assist credit with collection of rental receivables and COIs.
