Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking an Equipment Reliability Manager in Claremont to lead technical teams and drive proactive reliability improvements. You will guide PM/PdM strategies, investigate failures, and manage changes to ensure equipment uptime.

The role requires strong data analytics, leadership, and collaboration with maintenance, automation, and engineering teams. Ideal candidates possess an engineering degree, 5+ years in manufacturing/maintenance, and Lean/Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE, or related field).
• 5+ years of manufacturing/engineering/maintenance experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of statistical tools.
• Excellent communication skills with collaborative interpersonal interactions.
• Change-agent with ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of Process Control Technicians to drive equipment reliability and process improvements.
• Interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and discharging personnel per company policy; develop subordinates.
• Provide technical leadership in equipment reliability improvements.
• Lead reliability initiatives and deploy projects to improve uptime and effectiveness.
• Track losses and maintenance costs to prioritize and eliminate failing assets.
• Participate in Management of Change for new or modified equipment to ensure reliability.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures and implement permanent fixes.
• Develop PM and PdM strategies with vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic, and oil analysis.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Automation, Engineering and Operations to resolve issues and CI projects.
