Job summary

First Solar is seeking an experienced maintenance leader to guide the maintenance team and manage the engineering aspects of the maintenance process. You will use engineering tools to drive improvements, maintain PM records, and publish routine reports.

Travel is possible; relocation assistance may be provided. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of CMMS (Maximo), and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve equipment availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of First Solar technical experience, or 6+ years of technical work experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in engineering with no experience required; technical work experience in combination with a degree is preferred.
• Alternative certifications and experience can count if demonstrated with mentorship and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, participate and implement PM‑Planning.
• Create and update equipment preventive maintenance work instructions and specifications.
• Continuously improve spare part availability.
• Provide training to maintenance team.
• Monitor long‑term equipment downtime and lead resolutions.
• Interface with cross-functional groups to implement equipment improvement projects.
