Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking an Equipment Analyst to join the Reliability team in Goldsmith, TX. The role focuses on predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability for natural gas engines and compressors.

You will collect and analyze vibration data and coordinate repairs using SAP and related software. The position requires mechanical experience in oil & gas, willingness to travel up to 10%, and the ability to work extended hours and in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of mechanical experience with reciprocating engines, compressors, turbines, pumps and motors in oil & gas (or relevant) industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform machinery condition assessments using predictive maintenance technologies to improve reliability.
• Analyze crank angle vibration and pressure data on natural gas engines/compressors from brands like White, Ariel, Caterpillar, Waukesha, Cooper.
• Operate vibration analysis, oil analysis and infrared imaging equipment; generate work orders in SAP or related systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs, and travel to other Phillips 66 areas as needed.
