Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking an Equipment Operator in Greenville, NC to operate heavy equipment removing branches from electrical lines. A valid driver’s license is required; CDL is preferred. Experience with Barko, Linebacker, and Jarraff equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience preferred in utility vegetation management or related fields.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Experience with Barko, Linebacker and Jarraff equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and assist in daily crew activities as directed.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work and conduct basic maintenance.
• Follow safety rules, set up barriers and protect workers and the public.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed and report mileage.
