Job description

Guy M Turner Inc is currently seeking dependable individuals for Equipment Operator positions. This is a great opportunity for those with experience operating excavators, skid steers, or other heavy machinery who are looking to transition into the rigging and machinery moving industry. You'll work as part of a team handling heavy equipment moves and installations, operating industrial forklifts, scissor lifts, man lifts, and more.

Pay is dependent on experience (DOE).

This is not a sit-in-the-cab-all-day job - you'll be fully engaged on-site, operating equipment and working hands-on with the rigging crew to move and install machinery safely and efficiently.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Operating fork trucks, scissor lifts, and man lifts
• Assisting with the setup, rigging, and relocation of heavy industrial equipment
• Supporting work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Performing tasks in varied weather conditions and job site environments
• Comfortable working at elevated heights and in confined spaces
• Collaborating with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid North Carolina Driver's License (NCDL)
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to work all shifts, including nights and weekends
• Must be able to travel out of town on occasion
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work in a variety of conditions
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as excavators, skid steers, forklifts, aerial lifts, and similar equipment (not required, but a plus)
