Job Details

This temporary position is located in Salisbury, NC - Rowan County, within the Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services at 160 Circle M Drive, Salisbury, NC 28147.

Pay rate: $26.25/hr. This is a temporary role with no benefits, but eligible employees working 30+ hours/week may access health insurance under the High Deductible Health Plan. For details, visit www.shpnc.org.

Responsibilities
  • Operate vehicles and equipment, including CDL vehicles and pallet jacks.
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Provide good customer service.
Qualifications
  • Valid North Carolina Class A CDL.
  • Experience with manual/electric pallet jacks.
  • High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Necessary licenses or certifications for vehicle operation.
Additional Information

Must pass background checks, drug testing, and a job readiness assessment. Preference for candidates familiar with tablets/computers and refrigerated trailers (training provided).
