Job summary

Wonderful Citrus LLC is seeking workers for nursery and related tasks. The role involves tying buds, seed processing, transplanting and routine care of trees and equipment.

You will operate with limited supervision, maintain safety standards and contribute to efficient production in a year‑round nursery environment. The position requires physical stamina to perform bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to work alone or in groups with a strong team attitude.
• Good physical condition for bending, stooping and walking all day.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis; valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle.
• Ability to read and interpret general instructions and keep basic work notations.
• Ability to count and track time.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks throughout nursery and other areas as directed.
• Tying buds, budwood maintenance and seed processing.
• Clipping, staking & tying, installing drippers, seed extraction, transplanting.
• Cutting tail, removing tape, tree packing and sorting trees/Ellepots.
• Suckering and contributing to charitable giving initiatives.

Performs general labor as needed throughout nursery and elsewhere as directed by management. The nursery operator is dedicated to the nursery year-round and is expected to perform at high level and meet the standards set by management.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table

• Ability to work alone without close supervision and in group settings with excellent team work attitude.
• Be in good physical condition to do continuous bending, stooping and walking on a day-long basis.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis. If operating a company vehicle must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret general instructions from leads and supervisors. Ability to write and keep basic notations of work performed. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leads and managers.
• Ability to count and keep track of time.

Pay Range

$20.40 - $21.81 an hour. Final Compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
