Job summary

Wonderful Citrus, part of The Wonderful Company LLC, seeks a hands-on Nursery Operator to perform general labor across nursery operations in Visalia, CA. You will work year-round to meet management standards, including tasks like budding, spraying, tying buds, seed processing, clipping and transplanting.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the capacity to follow leads and document work.

Overview:

Performs general labor as needed throughout nursery and elsewhere as directed by management. The nursery operator is dedicated to the nursery year-round and is expected to perform at high level and meet the standards set by management.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• Ability to work alone without close supervision and in group settings with excellent team work attitude.
• Be in good physical condition to do continuous bending, stooping and walking on a day-long basis.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis. If operating a company vehicle must possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and interpret general instructions from leads and supervisors. Ability to write and keep basic notations of work performed. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leads and managers.
• Ability to count and keep track of time.

Pay Range: $21.93 - $22.34 an hour. Final Compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
