The Wonderful Citrus, part of The Wonderful Company, is seeking a nursery operator to perform general labor year-round. The role involves hands-on activities across the nursery and related tasks, contributing to the health and growth of our citrus stock.

Responsibilities include clipping, staking, installing drippers, seed processing, transplanting, and other field duties. This entry-level role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and physical endurance in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Qualificações

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and in teams.
• Physically fit for repetitive bending, stooping, and long periods of walking.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle.
• Able to read instructions and communicate with leads/supervisors; write simple work notations.
• Ability to count and keep track of time.

Job Description

Overview:

Performs general labor as needed throughout nursery and elsewhere as directed by management. The nursery operator is dedicated to the nursery year-round and is expected to perform at high level and meet the standards set by management.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• Ability to work alone without close supervision and in group settings with excellent team work attitude.
• Be in good physical condition to do continuous bending, stooping and walking on a day-long basis.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis. If operating a company vehicle must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret general instructions from leads and supervisors. Ability to write and keep basic notations of work performed. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leads and managers
• Ability to count and keep track of time.

Pay Range: $20.21 - $20.62.Final Compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
