City of Alexandria, LA is seeking a skilled equipment operator for the Streets Department to maintain city streets, drainage systems, rights-of-way, parks and parking facilities. You will operate trucks, tractors and other equipment requiring dexterity and safe maneuvering in confined spaces.

Responsibilities include driving, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with traffic control and project setup.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience operating medium-sized equipment (e.g., bush hogs, backhoes, large trucks).
• Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to obtain required endorsements.

Mansioni

• Operate and drive medium to large equipment to maintain streets, parking lots, parks, and rights-of-way.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report defects.
• Assist in traffic control and project setup as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor and crew to ensure safe operations.
