Charleston County Government is seeking a Motor Equipment Operator to perform routine servicing and light maintenance of a range of heavy equipment. The role requires safe operation of graders, backhoes, trucks and more, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and safety.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of experience operating complex motor equipment, and a valid SC CDL Class B license with the ability to lift 60 pounds.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating complex motor equipment.
• Valid SC CDL Class B license required and ability to lift 60 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Operate and perform routine servicing and light maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Safely and efficiently operate motor graders, backhoes, trucks, bulldozers and other Environmental Management machinery.
• Maintain records and follow safety protocols.
