Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related equipment operating experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid SC driver's license with safe driving record.
• Proficiency in operating multiple heavy equipment types depending on level.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy construction equipment including loaders, backhoes, graders and excavators.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Installs drainage pipes and patches roadways as needed.
• Transports materials to job sites and provides traffic control.
• Maintains records of work performed and may supervise crew.
• Assists with storm cleanup and emergency tasks when required.
