Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service.
• Minimum 3+ years heavy equipment operation in manufacturing or related fields.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment safety and operating principles.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
• Willingness to work overtime and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and comply with attendance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Operate heavy equipment including cranes and loaders.
• Load scrap material onto shredder feed conveyor and move materials in yard.
• Perform daily inspections and report defects or needed repairs.
• Keep grounds clear of debris while maintaining safety standards.
• Communicate over radio with teammates for coordination and safety.
• Cross-train in other positions as needed and perform other duties.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as sweeping and shoveling.
