Job summary

Burdick Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled equipment operator to safely and efficiently operate loaders, backhoes, track hoes, haul trucks, and related machinery across job sites. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productive performance in a heavy construction environment.

You will perform minor servicing, help with utility line work and road projects, keep time and material records, and coordinate with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple notes.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• MSHA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safe slopes on excavations and barricading.
• Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Keep time and material records.
• Assist Laborers with pipe laying and road construction tasks.
