Job summary

Circular Services is seeking an Equipment Operator in Tuscaloosa, AL to operate loaders, forklifts, bobcat and skid steer equipment with a focus on safety and preventive maintenance. The role requires attention to inspection routines and daily upkeep of equipment and work areas.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with benefits including FSA, vacation time, 401(k) matching, EAP and tuition reimbursement. A valid driver license and a GED or high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• Minimum 12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Complete inspection report prior to using equipment.
• Safely operate machinery under the direction of the shift supervisor or production manager; load trucks, pile scrap material, load/unload barges and rail cars.
• End of shift clean up and equipment inspection.
• Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality.
• Commit to the overall safety of the work environment.
• Sweep and shovel residual waste from process.
• Other duties may be assigned.
