Contech Engineered Solutions in Pelham, AL is seeking a dedicated Large Equipment Operator to join our plant team. You will operate forklifts, loaders and other heavy equipment, following safety and QA guidelines to move product and loads efficiently.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of Manufacturing, production, or distribution experience.
• One (1) year of forklift or crane operation experience.
• Preferred forklift operation certification.
• Preferred large equipment operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Operate Forklift, Front End Loader or Mijack equipment to move product and supplies safely.
• Complete pre-shift daily audit and maintain safety checklist.
• Comply with Next Level Quality Assurance Program.
• Move finished product to location and load/unload per Contech guidelines.
• Prepare lumber for dunnage, operate saws and nail guns.
• Fuel and maintain forklift.
• Complete post-shift audits and park equipment.
• Record production and keep area clean per 5S standards.
