ABOUT THE ROLE

Holcim is recruiting for full-time day and night shift Equipment Operator - Dredge Operator at the Ambrose (Bells, TX) Plant—the shift differential for the night shift (6 pm - 6 am).

What You'll Accomplish

1. Operate dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading, and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone, and/or asphalt materials.
2. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
3. Practice and promote safety by assessing risks before starting tasks, performing only authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate PPE.
4. Exercise and encourage core values including developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment.
5. Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
6. Load materials into bins, crushers, trucks, or plant.
7. Move earth or other materials from one location to another.
8. Perform visual and safety inspections of equipment; maintain equipment appearance, proper air pressure in tires, fluid levels, and perform minor repairs as needed.
9. Keep equipment clean and orderly.
10. Complete necessary paperwork and assist with other duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
