Zusammenfassung

The Equipment Operator at SAWS will operate a range of equipment to support the repair, construction, and maintenance of the water distribution and wastewater systems in San Antonio, Texas. The role features an automatic progression plan to Senior Equipment Operator after 5 years of continuous service.

Starting hourly rate is $25.50 with full-time benefits including medical, dental, life, retirement, paid leave and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Six months’ experience operating equipment in construction, water, wastewater or similar work environment.
• Ability to report to work on time and work all designated schedules.

Aufgaben

• Operates and maintains medium to heavy equipment such as dump truck, front-end loader, skid loader, backhoe, and excavator.
• Transports equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites.
• Loads and unloads materials from trucks.
• Maintains facilities, tools and equipment.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and traffic control requirements.
• May provide training on proper usage of tools and equipment.
