Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Dayton, OH is hiring for a warehouse/production support role. The position offers a starting wage of $19.00 per hour, a Monday–Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and a climate-controlled facility.

You will operate basic warehouse equipment, use WMS handheld scanners, perform pre-operation inspections, and help maintain safety and 5S standards while supporting daily logistics tasks. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and operational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Safely transport materials throughout the facility using Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including unloading, loading, put away, runner, and picking tasks.
• Conducts pre-operation inspections.
• Uses basic computer programs, Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.
• Identifies quality issues and escalates accordingly.
• Demonstrates increasing responsibility for equipment operation and types of equipment used.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
