Daikin Applied Americas Inc is hiring for a warehouse position in Dayton, OH. Starting wage is $19.00 per hour with a day shift (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday) in a climate-controlled facility.

The role involves lifting, material handling, and operating basic warehouse equipment within a fast-paced production environment. You’ll work with WMS systems and handheld scanners, maintain 5S standards, and participate in safety procedures.

Formación

• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials and stand for majority of the shift.
• Ability to use hand tools for extended periods.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsabilidades

• Follows all safety and operational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Safely transport materials throughout the facility using Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV)
• Conducts pre-operation inspections.
• Uses basic computer programs, Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.
• Identifies quality issues and escalates accordingly.
• Demonstrates increasing responsibility for equipment operation and types of equipment used.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Responsibilities:

• Follows all safety and operational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Safely transport materials throughout the facility using Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including unloading, loading, put away, runner, and picking tasks.
• Conducts pre-operation inspections.
• Uses basic computer programs, Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.
• Identifies quality issues and escalates accordingly.
• Demonstrates increasing responsibility for equipment operation and types of equipment used.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
• The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
