Job summary

Daikin Applied in Dayton, OH seeks a Warehouse Associate to support operations in a climate-controlled facility. Starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shifts, and a solid benefits package.

You will operate basic warehouse equipment, use WMS and handheld scanners, perform safety checks, and contribute to a clean, efficient workspace. This role offers growth opportunities and a path to advanced responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull; stand for long periods.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• 2 years of related manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment per SOPs.
• Transport materials using Powered Industrial Vehicles within the facility.
• Perform pre-operation inspections.
• Use WMS and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.
• Identify quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas per 5S standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Your Responsibilities:

• Follows all safety and operational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Safely transport materials throughout the facility using Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including unloading, loading, put away, runner, and picking tasks.
• Conducts pre-operation inspections.
• Uses basic computer programs, Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, and handheld scanners to complete daily tasks.
• Identifies quality issues and escalates accordingly.
• Demonstrates increasing responsibility for equipment operation and types of equipment used.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
• The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
