Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Equipment Operator in Melrose Park, IL to pick, move, and stage inventory using powered equipment. The role requires safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to operate cherry pickers and related gear. Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend work and competitive weekly pay.

You will join a team focusing on accuracy, safety, and productivity while supporting warehouse operations with efficient material handling and coordination with other shifts.

Qualifications

Location: Melrose Park, IL

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5 AM - 1:30 PM (Weekends as needed)

• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and inventory accuracy are well positioned for success as an Equipment Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and safely operate powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights while operating cherry picker equipment.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and moving inventory while following established safety procedures.
