Job summary

Staffmark Group in Des Plaines, IL is hiring a Forklift Operator to move, stage, and store freight safely in a busy warehouse. The role requires sit-down forklift operation, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate shipment handling.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience, knowledge of safety procedures, ability to read and follow warehouse procedures, and reliability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods.
• Capability to work in varying warehouse conditions.
