Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an Equipment Operator in Melrose Park, IL to pick, move, and stage inventory using powered equipment. The role requires safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to operate cherry pickers and related gear. Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend work and competitive weekly pay.

You will join a team focusing on accuracy, safety, and productivity while supporting warehouse operations with efficient material handling and coordination with other shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience operating cherry pickers or similar powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment inspections.
• Ability to identify inventory, locations, and shipping documentation with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate cherry picker and safely retrieve, transport, and store inventory.
• Stack product and place items at elevated rack locations.
• Assist in keeping warehouse organized and efficient for continuous operations.
