Job summary

NRI Distribution is seeking an hourly warehouse associate in Fontana, CA. The role requires operating forklifts and order-pickers, plus scanning and cycle counting, while maintaining strict safety practices.

You will learn our basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS), demonstrate strong attention to detail, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position offers 21.00/hr and a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ months forklift experience on an order/cherry picker.
• Clean driving record; 18+ to apply.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized warehouse machinery such as forklifts, order/cherry picker, reach truck, and pallet-jacks.
• Receive, replenish, ship, scan, and cycle count with other warehouse duties.
• Follow NRI safety rules, SOPs, and keep work areas tidy and safe.

Monday - Friday, 4:30am - 1:00pm

Starting Pay:

$21.00/hr

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Ability to learn ourbasic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)

The Must Haves:

• Must have 3+ months of forkliftexperience on an order/cherry picker
• This position requires a clean driving record
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

Things You Will be Doing

• Operating specific motorized warehouse machinery like forklifts, order/cherry picker, reach truck, electric pallet-jacks.
• Receiving, replenishments, shipping, scanning, and cycle countingalong with other general warehouse duties
• FollowingNRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times.
