About This Role

The Equipment Operator for Carolina Power & Signalization will be responsible for the safe transportation of materials and equipment. Operators will load and unload equipment and material as needed. They will also safely, skillfully operate and maintain construction equipment such as cable plows, backhoes, mini excavators, skid steers, rock saws, and other utility construction equipment.

What You'll Do

• Possess a valid CDL class A (not required, premium pay included if CDL is held or obtained)
• Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the last 5 years)
• Strong focus on quality and safety
• Excellent time management skills
• Work all aspects of the job; you may be hand‑digging trenches if machinery is unable to reach a specific area needing to be trenched or dug
