Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. The role requires operating and supervising heavy equipment on construction sites with a 10/4 travel rotation. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, skid steers, and forklifts.
• Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting for multiple heavy equipment types.
• Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors performance of heavy construction equipment (bulldozers, loaders, excavators, etc.).
• Learn and follow safety regulations.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and hand/voice cues.
• Align machines with reference stakes and guidelines.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, or materials with various equipment.
• Perform specialized work using pile drivers, dredging rigs, drillers, or concrete pumpers.
• Load/unload trucks weighing 50–75 pounds.
• Maintain housekeeping at equipment, facility, and job site.
• Assist the field labor team as needed.

About this Role

R. R. Cassidy is a local heavy construction company that specializes in deep foundation drilling, driven pipe pile, and caisson work in the electric power industry, and is looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. Applicants must be willing to travel on a 10/4 rotation. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and is knowledgeable in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product lines.

What You'll Do

• Operates and monitors performance ofheavyconstruction type equipment, such as bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, excavators, marsh buggies, forklifts, shovels,etc.

• Learn and follow safety regulations.

• Take actions to avoidpotential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.

• Coordinate machine actions with other activities,positioningor moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.

• Align machines, cutter heads, or depth gauge makers with reference stakes and guidelines or ground or position equipment, following hand signals of other workers.

• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using loaders, excavator, skid steers, shovels, and/or other types of equipment

• Perform specialized work, using equipment, such as pile drivers, dredging rigs, drillers, or concrete pumpers.

• Load/unload trucks that require lifting 50 to 75 pounds

• Responsible for housekeeping in the equipment, facility, and job site

• Help the field labor team as needed

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 2 years of experienceoperatingheavy equipment in a construction environment.

• Previousexperience in construction, civil, or foundation work preferred

• Ability to safelyoperatea variety of heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, skid steers, and forklifts.

• Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting for multiple heavy equipment types.

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

• Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods

• Strong understanding of and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

• Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Good communicationskills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

• Possession of a valid driver's license (CDL preferred but notrequired).

• Familiarity with basic tools and construction equipment

• Valid driver's licenserequired; CDL a plus

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
