The Equipment Mechanic (Service Tech III) performs maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe, professional manner, with opportunities to advance to higher Service Technician and leadership roles in our Service Department. You’ll deliver superior customer service to our clients, travel to job sites as needed, and work with a team of skilled technicians while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic work orders promptly.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
