United Rentals is hiring a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to maintain and repair a variety of complex rental equipment in a safe, professional manner. You’ll train junior technicians, handle accurate documentation, and travel to customer sites as needed while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Owns tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Perform safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain work orders and documentation daily.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
