Asplundh Construction is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, service, and repair heavy equipment and fleet vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable operation. The role is full-time with overtime potential, emphasizing a strong maintenance focus and teamwork within Fleet Operations / Equipment Maintenance.
The position requires 18+ years, the ability to operate a company vehicle, and a valid driver's license, with CDL air brake endorsement preferred.
Job Title: Equipment Mechanic
Employment Type: Full-Time+, Non-Exempt. Current schedule is 50 hours a week (Overtime rate applied after 40 hours), but may change to fit needs of crews.
Department: Fleet Operations / Equipment Maintenance
Reports To: Fleet Manager / Shop Supervisor
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate in alignment with local union hall rates.
Benefits are provided through IBEW Local 1393 and based on their current contract.
The Equipment Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy equipment and fleet vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
