Job summary

WW Clyde in Arizona is seeking an experienced Area Manager for Transportation to lead heavy civil roadway projects in the Southwest Division. You will provide leadership, strategic direction, and ensure attainment of short- and long-term goals.

The role requires managing multi-million-dollar contracts, fostering client relations, mentoring area staff, and supervising safety and compliance across projects. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in large earthwork construction, finance, and management.
• Experience leading multi-million-dollar contracts, operations, and client relations for large projects.
• Demonstrates innovative management techniques and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the area with a clear strategic plan aligned to company goals.
• Mentor and develop area employees; oversee training and leadership development.
• Foster client relationships and coordinate with Division Manager on strategy and execution.
• Manage contracts financially to protect company interests and ensure project success.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance across projects.
