Job summary

Koch Companies is seeking an Equipment Manager in Golden Valley, MN. The role oversees tractor and trailer assignments, tracking, maintenance coordination, reallocation, and sale of fleet assets to maximize utilization and value throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage tractor and trailer assignments, tracking, and reporting to ensure asset visibility.
  • Coordinate equipment allocation with Operations, Safety, Maintenance, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor equipment utilization, mileage, and performance data to support redeployment and resale decisions.
  • Oversee equipment reallocation, disposal, and sales activities, including vendor and buyer coordination.
  • Troubleshoot equipment-related issues, including tracking devices and onboard technology.
  • Analyze equipment KPIs and collaborate with leadership to improve fleet efficiency and asset performance.

Job description

We're looking for an Equipment Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll oversee the assignment, tracking, maintenance coordination, reallocation, and sale of company-owned tractors and trailers. You'll play a key role in maximizing fleet utilization, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring equipment assets deliver value throughout their lifecycle.

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Hiring Range: $72,000 - $80,000+, commensurate with experience

Schedule: 1st shift
