Job summary

Lifting Gear Hire Corp in Nashville, TN is seeking a mechanically inclined technician to maintain and ready rental equipment for customer use. You will inspect, repair, and test various gear, while performing routine maintenance and safe handling of equipment throughout the warehouse and delivery process. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

with possible overtime. A high school diploma is required and a valid driver’s license with DOT certification upon start.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred (auto/mech/heavy equipment).
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• DOT certification required upon commencement (LGH expense).

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspections per quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, and test electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and promptly.
